Parts & Accessories

Over the long history of ANSCHÜTZ, we have been proud to offer a wide range of rifles for both competition and hunting.  With this history, a gradual evolution through our entire product line has taken place.  Some items such as our air rifles have seen significant changes, while the .22lr sporting and hunting line of rifles have been much more gradual in terms of changing.

While some of these changes may appear to be minor, in reality there have been considerable improvements to the various parts to the rifles over the years, especially with the triggers. That said, one of the biggest challenges is providing spare parts for all of our rifles.

Being able to provide service and parts is an important aspect of our business, and we do our very best to meet the customer’s needs.

At ANSCHÜTZ North America, our goal is to provide a full range of spare parts for all currently manufactured models of air, smallbore, and centerfire rifles.  This is to help support the customer in case there is a lost or broken part to the rifle, as well as to offer options for upgrades and custom work.
out of production items
Unfortunately, we do not offer parts for rifles currently out-of-production.  The factory in Germany has stopped manufacturing many of the older parts and have subsequently sold off the remaining inventory.

Finding these parts usually involves a detailed search on the internet or with former suppliers.  Also, be aware that out-of-production items such as triggers are very expensive on the open market, and what may have seemed like a great deal can easily turn into a very expensive project.  If the "vintage" rifle is priced very low, chances are that it is missing a critical part which is nearly impossible to find.

Please keep this in mind when purchasing older rifles which are missing a stock, bolts, or triggers.  If you are in doubt, please contact us before making a bad purchase.  We receive emails time to time from frustrated people who don't take the time to investigate this prior to purchase, and ultimately we have to inform them they have heavily invested in a "wall hanger" rather than a functioning firearm.

The general rule-of-thumb is 7 years from last production date as to if parts will be available, and realistically it's more like 5 years.  If in doubt, contact us before purchase.

Update

We have now received two "vintage" target rifles from shooters who purchased various new parts for their gunsmith to fit on the rifle - unsuccessfully.  We have been asked to correct mistakes and make them work.  We can do this, but please be aware of the following:

  • We completely start over by taking apart the rifle and refitting where necessary.
  • Our billing rate for this is $150 an hour, with the usual price running well past $1500 per rifle.
  • This is fit into the Custom Shop schedule, so turn-around is 6 months or more.
  • If we need to fabricate parts out of raw material, we charge $250 an hour.
  • We do not re-finish stocks.

Parts restocking fee
If you order a part and find it does not fit, there is a 25% restocking fee for its return.  If you are unsure the part will fit, please ask.

We do not guarantee the fit of modern parts on older or out-of-production rifles.  Small changes to designs has made it not possible to fit some new parts on old rifles.

If you are ordering parts for an out-of-production rifle, it is your responsibility to verify if the part will fit.  You will be charged the 25% for returning the part if it does not fit

Replacement bolts
We offer replacement bolt for currently manufactured rifles.  Keep in mind that some new bolts will fit into older rifles with modifications, but please email the service center before ordering if you have any questions.

  • The bolt is not sold as ""drop-in"" condition and requires fitting and head-spacing at our service center or by your gunsmith.
    • Our fee to set head-space for a bolt starts at $300.00
    • If we find that additional fitting work is necessary, labor for this work is $150 an hour.
    • If for some reason the barrel needs to be set back or modified in any way, this is an additional $450.00

  • Please note that the spare bolts are only pre-assembled with all required parts in the packaging.  There may be some additional fitting of the parts required.
  • If we install your bolt, the adjustment of the head-space will be in accordance with the specifications of CIP or SAAMI.  We will not cut a tighter chamber than CIP or SAAMI match.
  • All bolts from the factory are in new condition and unfitted.

Important note

We are receiving many requests now for shooters who have picked up a barreled action and need a bolt and / or trigger to complete the rifle.  For newer rifles, we can perform this work, but it is not inexpensive.  Plan on budgeting at least $1000 if you need a bolt, trigger, and fitting to the rifle.  On older rifles, such as 1411 and similar models, we cannot help.  The parts are no longer made.

We we have done this work for customers, a few have come to find out the rifle was sold at a very cheap price because of very poor accuracy.  Even if the rifle shoots poorly, you are still responsible for the parts and labor.  We can also install a new match barrel, with that cost starting at $800, in addition to the $1000 you have already spent.

It is important to realize the $300 barreled action you picked up as a "steal" may in fact run you another $2000 of parts, labor, and shipping fees to bring back up to a good shooting condition.
